Like the space race of the 1960’s, Chicago’s 1893 World’s Fair Columbian Exposition was a catalyzing phase in the development of American psyche that focused efforts and attention on a goal which was itself an opportunity to display how magnificently a people can work together to produce a vision into a reality. The dates correspond to when I initially posted this picture to the Twitter thread where this content originated.

It was great to start this project on Twitter as a thread over a number of months. While I do intend to do that again, as well as to explore threading in general on Twitter, this piece on the Columbian Exposition is going to be turned into a short film. The text in these posts represent the content in it’s rawest forms.

My next edits will be to create a better narrative flow by sectioning the 100+ posts into groups of relative information. After that, I’ll begin testing a read through for tone and timing. I’m going to be writing a few pieces of music to use in this video. There are also a few last modern photos I intend to capture for inclusion in the video to connect it to the current times.
